The mission of The CawleyJohnson Group is to provide healthcare management and consulting services
that help healthcare organizations develop a clear strategic vision and plan for a quality behavioral health service line.
Our management and consulting services have successfully addressed the operational, fiscal, strategic, clinical and regulatory needs of prestigious academic institutions, "Top 100" hospitals and other behavioral health providers throughout the United States since 2000.
We offer customized hospital management
recommendations to meet the unique challenges of your organization based on comprehensive market and financial analyses. A financially viable behavioral health service is one way for hospitals and other healthcare providers to navigate through these difficult economic times.
Hospital contract management
has proven to be a particularly valuable option for our clients, particularly when senior leadership has determined that the hospital lacks the in-house resources, expertise, operating systems, and time to implement and manage the details of a customized Strategic Business Plan for behavioral health
. The value of this service is demonstrated through more efficient labor productivity, financial accountability, improved patient outcomes, and streamlining of the service line to focus on those programs whose return on investment provides a positive contribution margin. We will recruit and supervise (as an extension of senior administration) key on-site management staff; install proprietary operating systems to assist in implementation of the Strategic Business Plan
; and provide on-going operational, clinical, financial, regulatory, and referral relations support
We also offer a flexible range of hospital consulting services
, operational support, and proprietary software. Our FOCUS Operations Review, for example, has become the industry standard for an assessment of market needs and opportunities, as well as internal program operations, the deliverable for which is a measurable Strategic Business Plan
This Plan, consistent with the mission of the hospital and aligned with community needs, will include detailed recommendations to improve clinical and financial performance. All consulting services and management strategies
are structured to meet federal and state licensing, accreditation and regulatory standards. The timetable for completion of the review, from on-site interviews and data collection to final presentation is 4-6 weeks.
The Call and Assessment Management System (CAMS) software is a proprietary, licensed Microsoft Access database that monitors the clinical intake and assessment function, as well as referral development activities. CAMS may be included as a deliverable under certain contractual agreements or offered as a stand-alone lease.
Our consulting and management programs provide results that exceed the expectations of hospital leadership. The CawleyJohnson Group’s leadership team averages over 30 years of experience in the behavioral health field, and our commitment to a personal, hands-on approach to customer service provides our hospital and behavioral health clients with the expertise and objectivity that they deserve.
